Scottish Council on Archives (SCA) welcomes the publication of the Annual UK Archive Sector Survey.

The survey was conducted in partnership with The National Archives, National Records of Scotland,  Welsh Government, Archives and Records Council Wales and Public Record Office of Northern Ireland.

The data collected in this 2025 survey provides the most current, complete picture of the archive sector in Scotland and across the UK, and will help inform SCA’s programme of capacity building and advocacy.
