The International Centre for Documentary Heritage in Korea, under the auspices of UNESCO, is caring out a survey to set up directions for the Centre’s activities for protecting the world’s endangered documentary heritage.

In an effort to better protect the world’s endangered documentary heritage and carry out the missions of UNESCO, ICDH invites you to participate in the following survey. The survey (available here) seeks to collect information which will be used to set the direction for the Centre’s future activities in protecting the world’s endangered documentary heritage.

Complete anonymity of respondents is guaranteed, and you are encouraged to share your experience freely. The survey consists of three sections; I) Experience of restoring and preserving endangered documentary heritage 2) Priorities and vulnerabilities of custodian institutions and 3) Overall direction the Centre should take in protecting endangered documentary heritage. If you don’t have relevant experience for No 1, you can skip the first part (Question 1 through 22) and start answering from the question No. 22. Please mark the unanswered questions as “Not Applicable”.

Also, we understand you may have reservation about sharing certain information due to requests from custodian institutions or individuals with a right to the documentary heritage.
