Do you have a digital collection?
Community Archives & Heritage Group Scotland will be hosting an event, Connecting Communities: A Shared Responsibility for Digital Sustainability, on the 10th of March to conclude our Connecting Communities project. It will be a day long event with talks and workshops that centre around helping people get to grips with their digital content and an opportunity to talk to experts as well as peers.
As part of the day we are going to showcase posters, either printed A2 on posterboards or digital content shown on screens. This is an opportunity to showcase your digital collection and any projects you have or plan to undertake relating to it.
If you would like to submit digitally we are keen to show parts of your digital collection such as film or audio (e.g. Oral histories).
There is also the option of doing a 5 minute lightning talk to go alongside your poster.
Deadline for posters: Tuesday 25th February 2025 5pm
