The Scottish Council on Archives (SCA) invites members, stakeholders, and the wider sector to join us for a series of online consultations. 

Join us for one or more of these online consultations to explore the case for developing a National Archives and Records Strategy for Scotland. These consultation sessions are designed to gather views on the need, priorities, and potential outcomes of a national strategy to strengthen and unify the archives and records sector. Archives and records in Scotland currently lack a national strategic framework which could serve to raise visibility, attract resources, and strengthen Scotland’s archival identity.

SCA has produced a short background National Strategy for Archives and Records Scotland discussion document.

Your input will help shape the framework for future engagement and ensure that the voices of Scotland’s archives and records community are represented in this important conversation.
