Join us for a two-day Oral History training course

10.00 – 13.00 both days
This online training session will be delivered over two consecutive mornings, please attend both sessions.
The course will cover all the practical basics of getting started, including planning, good interviewing techniques, equipment, interview practice, transcription and summarising, ethics, copyright, data protection (GDPR) and legal issues.
This training is being delivered by the Scottish Oral History Centre, University of Strathclyde on behalf of the SCA as part of our Community Stories – Community Archives project funded by the NLHF.
Who should attend
This course will be of interest to community archivists and volunteers who are looking to undertake an oral history project. This course is designed for beginners and you do not need to have priority knowledge in this area.
