Glasgow Through the Years: Exploring Images in Archives

Glasgow has witnessed great change over the years, and it’s a transformation that can be best appreciated through archives, especially photographs. Join us on 15 June to hear from archive expert, Dr Irene O’Brien, City Archivist at Glasgow City Archives. She will take you on a journey and with the magic of archives we will travel through time to the present day. We will also hear from Dr Saqib Razzaq from Colourful Heritage who will talk about the ‘Digital Timeline’ and the Bashir Maan Archive in celebrating and preserving the history of Southeast Asians in Glasgow.

It’s all about celebrating the evolving local identity.
