The Scottish Council on Archives (SCA) and the National Manuscripts Conservation Trust (NMCT) announced in August that they have again entered into a funding partnership to support the conservation of Scottish archive collections. With continued generous support from National Records of Scotland (NRS), the funding scheme will enable Scottish archives and other eligible institutions to apply for a grant towards the cost of a manuscript conservation project.

If you are considering making an application to the conservation grants scheme for Scotland, then register now for this free Q&A session. The event will be hosted by John Pelan, SCA Director; Nell Hoare of the NMCT and Linda Ramsay, the chair of the Scottish Council on Archives Preservation Committee.

The next deadline for applications has been extended to Friday 29th October 2021. The subsequent deadline is 1st April 2022. This session will be suitable for anyone thinking about applying before either deadline.
