Planning Matters: Emergency Planning Guidance for Archives Launch

The Scottish Council on Archives and National Records of Scotland invite colleagues from across the archive sector to attend the online launch of Planning Matters: Emergency Planning Guidance for Archives.

The Covid-19 pandemic has underlined the importance of emergency planning and response, and it presents new challenges. This interactive webinar will be an opportunity for attendees to discuss emergency planning and business continuity issues in the current context. The feedback gathered from attendees will be used to inform any additions to the Planning Matters guidance in this continually evolving situation.

The webinar will include: an introduction to the SCA and NRS Planning Matters: Emergency Planning Guidance for Archives; an opportunity to discuss emergency planning in relation to archive accreditation; and an update on the National Archives’ work to develop business continuity guidance for the reopening of archive services.
