Six years into the implementation of the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011, we’re inviting practitioners to get together to reflect on progress and look forward to the future.

Building on PRSA Success: Continuous Improvement and Digital Advance is a conference aimed at professionals with responsibility for implementing PRSA within their organisation. This one-day event will include plenty of opportunity for networking and discussion along with presentations on a variety of topics, including:

  • Launch of the New Model Records Management Plan
  • The Progress Update Review (PUR) and continuous improvement
  • Digital preservation, web harvesting and digital capacity planning

The conference is being co-ordinated by National Records of Scotland (NRS) and Scottish Council on Archives (SCA) in partnership with the Archives and Records Association Scotland and the Information and Records Management Society Scotland.

A full programme is available here. Tickets are £65.00 per person. Please note that spaces are limited. We ask that only one delegate is registered per organisation. Registration closes at 15:00 on 10 May 2019.

There will be facilitated networking sessions on the following topics:
