The Amy Laws Letters project was a collaboration between Aberdeen University Special Collections and St Peter’s RC Primary school with P6 students in one class.
The students worked with education staff from Aberdeen University Special Collections to explore a collection of 19th century letters from missionary parents in Africa to their young daughter domiciled in Edinburgh.
They used drama approaches, craft activities, research and discussion to engage with the content of the letters.
