Seonaid is an archivist at the Tasglann nan Eilean (Hebridean Archives) at Lews Castle Museum and Archives in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. In her interview she talks about the challenges of having to close the museum and the introduction of remote working. She also discusses the difficulty of being unable to visit her family on the mainland and feeling anxious for her son’s who live in Glasgow. But there were also positives such as being able to spend more time with her husband and the improved communication within her working life that developed by using Microsoft Teams. There is also the strange reality of returning to highly populated areas again as lockdown was eased and the new normal that we have all adapted to.
