Implementation

An Implementation Group was formed in 2010 from the key stakeholder organisations to ensure that the actions set out in the strategy are implemented. The Chair of the Group is Alison Turton (Head of Group Archives, The Royal Bank of Scotland) and the Secretary is Kiara King (Archivist, Ballast Trust). If you would like to get in touch with the group then please contact Kiara King - Kiara.King@glasgow.ac.uk

Infographics have been created to review the implementation progress in 20112012 and 2013. You can find out more about them on the blog.

Crisis Management Team

Crisis Management Team was created in 2009 as part of the English and Welsh strategy. The team was created to represent all parts of the archive sector to organise agreed responses to business archives under threat and it exists to monitor and assist in steering records at risk into suitable homes.

The Scottish Representatives from the Implementation Group are Kiara King and Cheryl Brown. For details about the other members of the team please see the Managing Business Archives website. If you are aware of business records at risk in Scotland then please contact Cheryl by email on Cheryl.Brown@glasgow.ac.uk or Kiara by email at Kiara.King@glasgow.ac.uk or on 01505 328488.
